The Partnerships for Africa’s Fisheries (PAF) is an open, growing and dynamic group of strategic and financial partners committed to working together to realize a common vision, within the NEPAD’s Comprehensive Africa Agricultural Development Programme (CAADP). This is a vision where fish contributes significantly to African prosperity and economic growth.

In order for such a partnership to occur, partners must be able to share and exchange knowledge, experiences and best practices and be able to learn from each other. Among other mechanisms which PAF has put in place is the website: www.africanfisheries.org which is intended to create a platform for exchange of information and experiences.

Furthermore, the website will contain research and review reports, syntheses, as well as policy briefs, some of which will emanate from the Policy Think Tank process, through which NEPAD intends to champion African home-grown knowledge-based options into the African fisheries development discourse.

The fisheries website is the latest in a long list of online products that are being developed in support of NEPAD Communications. Take time out to explore our still new and fresh website www.nepad-caadp.net
